| Thanks to the fact that I have the most incredibly thoughtful and patient girlfriend on earth, I got to see Team USA take on Team Germany in each team's final tune-up for the Worlds. She let me interrupt her sight-seeing in Nurnberg for a side trip to the arena. The Germans weren't sharp in dropping a 4-0 decision, though Kolzig was solid in net.
